Nonequilibrium Local States in QFT and a Unified Scheme for Generalized
Sectors
概要
Based upon my recent joint paper (Buchholz-IO-Roos), a localized and
hierarchized version of the zeroth law of thermodynamics to select
non-equilibrium local states in relativistic QFT is proposed and
formulated in terms of "local thermal observables" and "thermal
reference states". In view of the basic structure involving "generalized
sectors" and macroscopic variables parametrizing them, this scheme will
be compared with the sector theory extended recently to spontaneously
broken symmetries in my work in preparation, which suggests some
direction towards a unified scheme for treating different areas of
quantum physics, such as vacuum situations, thermal equilibria and
non-equilibrium situations and so on.
