論旨：
属性間の包含関係は，それらの属性が生起した順序を指す．生物の属性Ａ，Ｂ間に
Ｂ⊂Ａなる関係があれば，ＢはＡより後か，Ａと同時に生起したと言える．言い換えれ
ばＢ⊂Ａは，遷移順序がＡ→Ｂであることの十分条件である．
この事実が指す遷移順序を，包含順序と呼ぶ．
The inclusion relations between the attributes of organisms indicate the temporal
order of prebiotic events. If attribute B is included in attribute A, then A must be
observed in advance to, or simultaneously with B. This fact can be paraphrased
as that the inclusion relation B ⊂ A is the sufficient condition for the precedence
of A than B. We call this temporal order, inclusion order.

本文：
例えば，属性Ａを「有機物からなる」，Ｂを「有機高分子からなる」という属性だとします．
明らかに，Ｂ⊂Ａです． このとき，ＢがＡよりも先に獲得されたとすると，
Ｂ「有機高分子からなる」系がＡ「有機物からなる」系よりも先に出現したことになり矛盾を
生じます．これは，Ａ「有機物からなる」系がＢ「有機高分子からなる」系に先立って実現
したか，Ｂ「有機高分子からなる」系と同時に実現したことを意味します．言い換えれば，
生物の或る属性Ａ，Ｂ間に，Ｂ⊂Ａという関係があれば，「必ず」Ａ→Ｂという順序で遷移
したと言えます（同時も許す）．その逆は必ずしも正しくありませんから，Ｂ⊂Ａであることは，
Ａ→Ｂという順序で遷移が起きたことの十分条件です．
